Default Flameberge and longsword.

Ok,why is a longsword with the same stats as a flameberge cost alot more than the flameberge? is it because of the looks?i remember that last 3-4 mths ago flameberge was in very high demand and ppl pay high amount for the looks...so why is a longsword cost more?is it that a longsword is nice? if yes, tell me where is it nicer(lol,i personally thinks that flameberge is cooler and somemore its black)

Can anyone help me on this please? your help will be greatly apreciated, thanks a lot

Some people have told me longswords are harder to find than other swords. I dont know about that.... I have 10 longswords. Flameberge do look nice all in black, but as with anything else, the time has passed for that weapon. Just like with Chaos axes, they were really hot, and now they are slowly falling by the wayside.

Flamberge:

Yuk! Look at the comedy Halloween themed guard, the shape of the blade is acceptable, but dear god that handle is horrid! And its about 15 times bigger than it needs to be. I'm gonna be sick looking at that pile of horse pellets.

Long Sword:

Observe the beautiful thin lines, especially the slender hilt. The understated cross motif on the cross-beam. And look at the base of the blade... that thinner section is beautiful.

Not to mention the blade is much much longer... Funny in other RPG's a flameberge is a long sword with jagged edges cut into the blade, sometimes even two handed. Which makes you wonder, why doesnt guildwars have a two handed Claymore or something?
